Why We Built This Site
Nebraska makes many court records available, but knowing where to start can still be difficult. Wheeler County Court is the first venue for traffic, misdemeanors, preliminary felony proceedings, probate, small claims, and several other case types. Wheeler District Court, within the Eighth Judicial District, holds the higher-jurisdiction civil, domestic-relations, and felony trial docket. JUSTICE brings public trial-court case information together, while the appropriate clerk remains the source for an official copy. The material here identifies those routes and explains the difference between a Register of Actions, a linked filing, and a certified record.
What You Can Find Here
Each topic points to the official Wheeler or Nebraska process that fits the record being sought.
- Docket routes: how criminal docket searches and civil docket searches work in Wheeler County
- Hearing settings: how to use court dates with the clerk's confirmation
- Case lookups: how to use Case Lookup by party name and the court's case number
- Copies: how court record searches lead to clerk-issued or certified records
What We Cannot Do
This is a privately run reference resource. It is not connected to a Nebraska court, clerk, or government agency. Its limits include the following:
- We cannot pull an official docket sheet or case file for anyone
- We cannot change, reschedule, or reset a court date or hearing setting
- We cannot remove, seal, or amend a case on any docket
- We cannot issue certified copies of any docket, order, or court document
- We cannot give legal advice or explain how a specific case applies to you
- We cannot promise that a phone number, fee, or hearing setting has not changed
Only the clerk or trial court that holds the file can issue an official or certified copy. The court, not this resource, controls the record.
Search Partners
Some pages include search boxes supplied by outside providers. Those providers operate their own services and set their own prices. A paid sign-up reached through one of those tools may produce a referral fee. That support does not give this resource control over a provider's prices, methods, or results.
